Trade of Services – CLBP is willing to negotiate with any dog owner unable to pay the cost, but willing to volunteer services to improve the dog park. Examples might include carpenters, painters, grass cutters, gardeners, etc.

Scholarship program – Every time a training class has 8 participants, CLBP will offer a scholarship to a dog owner to take the class for a nominal fee of $5.00.  Interested dog owners can pick up the necessary information at the dog park. This program will be available to adults and children.

Yolanda G. Barco Oncology Institute -

Bark Park Use Any family member who accompanies the patient to OWI can drive the 3 miles to CLBP and use the entire facility for a $1.00 a day fee.   This includes the off-leash areas, the walking trails, ponds, and the entire 35+ additional acres.  The only stipulation is the completion of all necessary forms prior to using the facility.

Doggie Day Care – Any patient receiving treatment at OWI can bring their dog to the doggie day care facility for a $5.00 a day fee.  Leave the worries behind of having the dog home alone while you are at the center and just return at the conclusion of the treatment.  This is available during the entire treatment cycle at the OWI.   Again, all necessary forms must be completed

Open Use of Dog Park  - This program will be with local veterinarians. We will give free passes to each veterinarian office which they can distribute to pet owners that would like to come and visit the dog park and take advantage of the different aspects of the facility for one day. Veterinarians will indicate on the free pass that all participants have the required health requirements. We hope to include veterinarians in the immediate area along with veterinarians in Venango and Warren Counties and those located in and around the Andover area.

Rental for Non-Profit groups – CLBP will not charge a rental fee for any non-profit group using the facility.

High Risk Students – CLBP hopes to develop a program at the bark park for high risk students to interact with the therapy dogs from Therapy Dogs Incorporated.  The local organization, Paws Hand Delivered, is  based at the bark park.

Dog Training Help – Available one Saturday a month when a dog owner who is presently not taking training classes can meet with the trainers for a little extra help when dealing with their dog.  There will be a nominal charge for this program.

Partnership with Humane Society Free use of the bark park for three visits for any dog adopted from the Crawford County Humane Society.

Programs for Military Service – CLBP will offer special introductory passes for all serviceman and veterans.  This program will give the participants an opportunity to experience the various facilities at CLBP and decide whether to consider joining through our Veteran appreciation program.

Service Organizations – CLBP will work closely with local service organizations to develop programs, special presentations, and work related projects held at the bark park.  This will include Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, Eagle Scouts, Allegheny College AWA, and high school students working towards the completion of graduation requirements.

Senior Volunteers – CLBP plans to employ a senior volunteer 20 hours each week.
