The mission of CLBPI is to provide local and nearby communities with a variety of pet related programs and services designed to meet the ever-growing needs of dog owners and organizations such as, hospitals, nursing homes, senior centers, and schools.
CLBPI will promote responsible pet ownership will building a strong bond of owner/pet companionship through a variety of recreational activities and educational programs.
CLBPI will be a leader in answering the increasing demand for therapy dog visitations. The ability to identify, train, and certify therapy dogs year around will facilitate this rewarding and popular community service.
CLBPI long-range goals include the addition of a day care service to provide a safe, fun, and stimulating environment for the family dog while giving the owner peace of mind and more flexibility in scheduling daily responsibilities and family activities.
CLBPI will structure programs and services to be affordable to all those wishing to participate.
CLBPI will strive to become a year around regional resource center for pet-related issues by promoting responsible pet ownership and a strong community service leader by increasing therapy dog visitation activities.
